Urgent Dental Care in Victoria Made Accessible With VEDS

VEDS is a specialised government program that assists those who cannot access emergency dental care at local community clinics. Those eligible may receive vouchers of up to $318, providing financial cover for emergency services offered by Dental @ Niddrie. A flat fee of $30.50 may be charged for patients aged 18 and above.

With VEDS, eligible patients can receive emergency dental treatments, including an examination and emergency treatment needed to alleviate pain and get them back on track with their oral health regimen.

Come to your appointment

Present your voucher from Victorian Emergency Dental and our friendly staff will check if you're eligible for our dental services.

Pay the co-payment fee

Before any dental procedures commence, you must pay a one-time co-payment fee of $30.50 to receive your needed emergency dental care.

Start your treatment

The dentist will begin with the necessary treatment. Please remember that only emergency dental services are eligible under this program.

Eligibility Requirements for Victorian Emergency Dental Services

VEDS is available to any resident of Victoria with a health care card, pensioner concession card, or DVA Card. Furthermore, child residents of Victoria between 0-17 years old who meet the requirements of CDBS or are under 12 years old, regardless of age or income status, are also eligible.
